Peace out, first tri. Whew.
Sadly, my dream of waking up this week to a clear face, no nausea, and increased energy has yet to come true. In fact, my previous symptoms have now been joined by buddies round ligament and gas pain. Not too fun, but what can ya do? Aside from complain about it on your blog?
In a desperate effort to help my poor, obliterated face, I ordered the pregnancy acne relief face wash/mask from Belli Skin Care last night. It seems to have helped others, and since nothing on the shelf at Walgreens has done a lick of good, why the heck not? Cross your fingers with me on this one.
I am loving my other recent pregnancy purchase -- Bella Bands. Everyone sings their praises and now you can add my voice to the choir. I am so much more confortable, and when I get changed at night, I no longer have those red gashes across my waist. And when you eat for two (or maybe three) at lunch, you don't feel like an overstuffed sausage. Hoorah!
Coming up: our 14 weeks appointment is this coming Monday, and we should be able to hear Lil G's thumper on the doppler. God willing. Also, Mom is taking me maternity clothing shopping next weekend. I'm pretty sure most things we get will still be big on me, as I'm not sporting a real big bump yet, but I like the idea of having something so when the morning comes, I don't have to wear a sheet to work. I think my coworkers will appreciate that.
