Hey! Ok so yes they are real pine garland. Until they came last night I never had even considered the drying out thing, but the package says that they will dry out if you don't keep them in a cool place. Its actually cool here now, but it will get warm again, so I will keep you posted on if they die or not! I hate the plastic ones too, which is why I splurged on the real ones. We'll see how it goes!
